Racist Starbucks or PC Gone Mad?

The liberal elites pressure citizens to conform by declaring words and phrases insensitive, hurtful or worse.  That is why the Christmas school break is now called the Winter Break, why that decorated tree is called a holiday tree and your liberal friends are wishing you “happy holidays.”  The liberals preach that we must not hurt the feelings atheists, Muslims or others who do not believe as we do.

The embedded video shows one story of how the liberals in France are rewriting the history books.  The other story, here, discusses how Starbucks in France is being called racist for allegedly displaying a poster showing a minority as a criminal.  Check out the story and judge for yourself if Starbucks a racist company or have the French liberals gone off the deep end.

As a rule, I don’t cover foreign events or policy in this blog, but when two stories of PC madness in France came to my attention I decided to share them as a open thread with this question, are we already seeing in the United States similar PC madness or will we in the future?

What are your comments or stories?

I'm glad the French are concerned about losing their identity, but they really should have thought about that back when they began surrendering their sovereignty to the EU.

A passionate debate has emerged in France over the challenge posed by EU law to national sovereignty, focusing on the question of whether the ultimate legal authority lies with the French constitution or with the European Court of Justice. It is very hard to find a decision that will be ok with every member of the EU. I wrote a custom essay on this topic and I think some time should pass till the decision is made.
