Green Jobs in Oregon
After spending hundreds of millions of your tax dollars to create green jobs, according to the Oregon Employment Department, the state’s number 1 “green job” is “carpenter” and the number 2 is “Truck driver.”

Oregon Redistricting
Blame it on the Tea Party. “Scenario 6 looks like the Tea Party gerrymander,” Lane County Commissioner Pete Sorenson commented about a redistricting proposal.  While population growth did not justify a sixth congressional district for Oregon after the 2010 Census, some boundaries for both congressional and legislative districts need adjusting.  Click here for Oregon redistricting maps and information.

Oregon Illegal Aliens

At what they call an “Equality Assembly,” groups such as CAUSA (Oregon Immigrant Rights Coalition) Vecinos de Alerta (Alert Neighbors); the Latino homosexual rights organization SOMOS and others met at Rigler School in Portland to discuss how to stop local law enforcement from working with immigration authorities, pass “tuition equity” and restore driver’s licenses for illegal aliens.  They illegally enter the country and then use a building built by taxpayers to plan the further circumvention of the United States law.  That is not equality, that is inequity. 

Several Oregon politicians pandered to the gathered illegal aliens included Oregon State Representative Lew Fredrick and Multnomah County Commissioner Judy Shiprack.  Watch the embedded video for details.

Seattle Police Videos
Three years ago, Eric Rachner refused to show his identification when the Seattle police requested and was arrested.  He was certain that dash cam video would clear him and show officer misconduct.  I viewed the video, in my opinion he acted like a jerk, and the officers showed great patience.  However, the Seattle police denied the existence of the video.  Rachner persisted, forced the release of the video has now created a database of all Seattle police dash cam videos.
