Heroin for Dummies

Some days liberals make my job so easy and this is one of them.  The liberals working for the New York City health department thought it would be a good idea to take money from hard working citizens and use it print 70,000 booklets detailing how heroin users can be safer addicts.

The 16-page pamphlet titled, “Take Charge Take Care,” is a systematic guide to properly preparing the drug, finding a vein and injecting.  It even includes information on finding clean needs and tips on how to prevent infection and disease.  Apparently, the only thing it doesn’t tell addicts is where to find the best dealers.

Even though this is a New York City program, not the Seattle nonsense I usually deal with, the principle remains the same.  It does not matter whether it is a needle exchange program or this Heroin for Dummies guide, all such efforts are a misuse of taxpayer funds.  It takes money from those who earned it and gives it to those who did not so they may continue an illegal and destructive lifestyle.  If the liberals really want to do these things, let them use their own money.
