Why Read the Bills?

There are days that you struggle to write something interesting and then there are days that the liberals do all your work for you.

During a speech at aNational Press Club Democrat Congressman John Conyers, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, provided a great assist to my writing. CNSNews.com quotes him as saying,

“I love these members, they get up and say, ‘Read the bill.’ What good is reading the bill if it’s a thousand pages and you don’t have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill?”

This Democrat may not read the healthcare reform bill, or understand it if he does, but rest assured he will vote on it and expect you to pay for it.
